The San Antonio ISD Board of Trustees will vote next month on the biggest pay hike for its staff in the past 25-years. The compensation plan being considered for the next school year comes to nearly $20 million, more than half of which will go to teachers. The superintendent is reportedly recommending a four-percent raise for everybody, with a quarter-percent more for every year of service. Teachers who've been on the job for 25-years or more would top out at nine-percent. The SAISD Board of Trustees will vote on the proposed compensation plan on April 17th.
