The Texans are continuing to build their defense under first-year coach DeMeco Ryans. Houston is signing free agent linebacker Denzel Perryman to a one-year deal. Perryman was a Pro Bowler in 2021, when he totaled 154 tackles with the Raiders. The 30-year-old tallied 83 tackles in 12 games for Las Vegas last season. The former second round pick will join new signing Cory Littleton on the second level of the Houston defense this fall.
