The San Antonio Roasted Corn Festival is coming up this weekend. Elote is traditional Mexican roasted corn covered with mayo and other toppings, such as Cotija cheese, cilantro, lime juice, and chili powder. Corn vendors will compete in the 2023 Champion Best Elote Contest. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday on FM 1346 near FM 1516. Entertainment will include Folklorico dancers and a DJ. The festival is free, but parking is five-dollars. VIP parking is ten-dollars.
