The Cowboys are making an upgrade to their secondary. According to ESPN, Dallas is acquiring cornerback Stephon Gilmore from the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for a fifth-round compensatory draft pick. Gilmore is entering the final year of his contract and has a base salary of 7.9-million dollars. The 32-year-old started 16 games for Indianapolis last season and had two interceptions. In other news, the Cowboys re-signed linebacker Leighton Vander Esch to a two-year, 11-million dollar deal and inked safety Donovan Wilson to a three-year pact worth up to 24-million.
