A San Antonio native is headed north to play with the Minnesota Vikings. NFL sources say edge rusher Marcus Davenport has signed a one-year, $13 million deal with the team. Davenport played football locally for Stevens High School and UTSA, and is coming off five seasons with New Orleans. The Saints selected Davenport in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft with the 14th overall pick. He was the first first-round NFL draft pick in the history of UTSA.
