Texas Tech's run in the Big 12 tournament has come to a swift end. The Red Raiders fell to West Virginia 78-62 in the first round. Elsewhere, Rice defeated UTSA 73-72 in the first round of the Conference USA Championship. The Owls will look to upset UAB in the quarterfinals tonight. In the Big 12 quarterfinals today, TCU plays Kansas State, Baylor takes on Iowa State, and Texas will challenge Oklahoma State. SMU will take on UCF in the first round of the AAC tournament this afternoon. North Texas plays Louisiana Tech in the quarterfinals of the C-USA tournament tonight. Texas A&M will challenge either Arkansas or Auburn on Friday night in quarterfinal round of the SEC tournament.
