The Texans are showing interest in a veteran free agent quarterback. CBS Sports is reporting that there is a push within Houston's organization to sign Jimmy Garoppolo when free agency begins next week. The 31-year-old has ties with new Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik from their time in San Francisco together. Garoppolo passed for over 24-hundred yards, 16 touchdowns and four interceptions in 10 starts for the 49ers last season. He has a record of 40-and-17 in his career as a starter.
