Actor Matthew McConaughey's wife is describing what it was like to be aboard the German fight out of Texas that encountered severe turbulence on Wednesday night. Camila Alves McConaughey posted on Instagram that stuff "was flying everywhere" as the plane dropped about four-thousand-feet. Out of respect for others' privacy, she posted video of items scattered on the floor, but no pictures of passengers. Lufthansa Flight 469 left Austin on its way to Frankfurt and hit severe turbulence over Tennessee. The plane made an emergency landing in Virginia. Seven people suffered minor injuries.
