A San Antonio man wrongfully convicted of indecency with a child more than 30-years ago is now a totally free man. The state vacated Melvin Quinney's conviction on Wednesday. Quinney's son accused him in 1991 of being the leader of a Satanic cult who sexually abused him and his sister. Quinney was convicted and sentenced to 20-years in prison. After his release in 1999, he was still required to register as a sex offender for his entire life. That requirement has now been lifted. His son has admitted to being pressured to testify falsely.
