A domestic violence case against former Texas Longhorns basketball coach Chris Beard has been dropped. Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza announced his office has dropped the case after coming to the conclusion that the felony offense couldn't be fully proven. Beard was originally arrested in early December on assault charges and he was fired last month. Beard's fiancé previously said she never wanted to have him arrested.
