Austin Energy is no longer saying that power will be fully restored by tomorrow evening. On social media this afternoon, the utility said that it is unable to provide an estimate of when the lights will be turned back on across the city. Austin Energy General Manager Jackie Sargent had previously told city officials that the outages would be resolved by late Friday. The utility said more than a hundred crews are working to restore power to almost 150-thousand customers.
