Mayor Ron Nirenberg is running for his fourth and last term as San Antonio's mayor. Nirenberg filed the paperwork on Thursday to run in the city election on May 6th. He tweeted an announcement around 7 p.m. and asked the public for their support. Nirenberg was first elected mayor in 2017, and was reelected to his third term in 2021. Because of term limits, a fourth term would be his final one.
