The Astros may be close to adding a new general manager. Atlanta Braves' Vice President of Scouting Dana Brown has emerged as the favorite for the Houston Astros' general manager job opening, according to USA Today's Bob Nightengale. The 55-year-old has been a member of the Atlanta front office the last four years. Brown would become the only African-American GM in baseball if he is hired by Houston. The Astros are looking to replace James Click, who parted ways with the organization following the conclusion of the 2022 MLB season.
