The top seed in the NFC playoffs defended home field in their postseason debut. The Philadelphia Eagles blew out the New York Giants 38-7 at Lincoln Financial Field. Jalen Hurts threw for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Hurts also carried the ball nine times for 34 yards and a score. Kenneth Gainwell led the team in rushing with 112 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, the Eagles combined for five sacks and a pick. Daniel Jones completed 15 of his 27 pass attempts for 135 yards and an interception. Matt Breida scored the lone touchdown of the game for the Giants. Philadelphia will host either the 49ers or Cowboys in next week's NFC Championship Game.
