Southwest Airlines shareholders are suing the Dallas-based carrier over technological problems that led to the Christmas meltdown. Shareholders filed suit last Thursday, claiming the airline downplayed and failed to disclose issues with outdated tech. Southwest canceled almost 17-thousand flights over the Christmas travel season, stranding nearly two-million passengers and crew at airports nationwide. CEO Bob Jordan says the airline has hired a consulting firm to analyze the meltdown and is investing millions to upgrade its technology.
