Sean Payton is keeping all of his options open for next season. The former New Orleans Saints head coach said that he would "absolutely" consider coaching the Texans in 2023. Payton said that there is "growth potential immediately" with the Texans after they won just three games this past season. The team completed its interview with him for the job on Monday. Payton confirmed on "The Herd with Colin Cowherd" that he has other meetings with Denver and Carolina this week. Whichever team hires Payton will have to compensate New Orleans for the 59-year-old coach. That compensation is rumored to be a mid-to-late first round pick.
