Mayor Adams is back in New York City after a tour of the U.S.-Mexico border in El Paso, Texas. Mayor Adams called on the federal government to take control of the migrant crisis, noting the tens of thousands of asylum seekers arriving in New York since last Spring costing the city as much as $2 billion. He chastised states for sending migrants to the city, but says FEMA needs to step up. He plans to raise the issue with the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Washington D.C. this week.
