City of San Antonio Councilman Clayton Perry says he plans to return from a leave of absence this week. Perry is charged with DWI and failure to stop and give information for a November hit-and-run crash, but he hasn't been convicted. On Wednesday he sent a letter to Mayor Ron Nirenberg and other city officials notifying them of his intention to resume his seat as District 10 councilman in time for Thursday's council meeting. Mike Gallagher, the previous District 10 councilman, has been filling in for Perry.
