The Texans search for a new head coach has begun. Houston has requested permission to interview 49ers' defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans and Eagles' defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon for the position, according to ESPN. The Texans have also requested to interview Lions' offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and Broncos' DC Ejiro Evero. In other team news, wide receiver Brandin Cooks has said that he is not going into this offseason wanting to be a part of a rebuild. Cooks had requested a trade before the 2022 trade deadline.
