GOP Congressman Tony Gonzales Files Border Security Bill

GOP Congressman Tony Gonzales is introducing border security legislation in response to record numbers of illegal crossings in the past few months. Gonzales introduced the Security First Act on Monday. The bill would provide needed resources to law enforcement through a border security grant program called Operation Stonegarden. The bill would equip the Border Patrol and law enforcement agencies with advanced FEMA funding and various required reports from the Department of Homeland Security.
