The Texans played themselves out of the first overall pick. A loss on Sunday would have solidified the number-one pick in the NFL Draft for Houston for the fourth time in franchise history. The Texans had different plans in a 32-31 road win over AFC South rival Indianapolis. Davis Mills connected with Jordan Akins on a 28-yard touchdown pass with 50 seconds remaining to bring Houston within one. Houston then converted the two-point conversion -- another pass from Mills to Akins -- for the win. Mills finished the day with 298 passing yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Brandin Cooks reeled in five catches for 106 yards and a score. The Texans are now slated to pick second in the NFL Draft.
