Sam Howell threw for 169 yards, a touchdown and an interception as he led the Commanders to a 26-6 win over the Cowboys in Landover. Howell completed 11-of-19 passes and also rushed for a touchdown in his first NFL start. Kendall Fuller helped Washington build an early lead with a 29-yard pick-six in the second quarter. The Commanders closed the season with a 8-8-and-1 record. Dak Prescott completed just 14-of-37 passes for 128 yards, one TD and a pick. Dallas was held to 64 rushing yards on 27 carries in the loss. The Cowboys will have the fifth seed in the NFC after finishing with a 12-and-5 record.
