Southwest CEO Bob Jordan is blaming the weekend freeze for touching off a series of events that led to thousands of canceled flights. Jordan made a video appearance on Tuesday evening to update conditions at airports nationwide. The Dallas-based carrier was responsible for nearly three-fourths of all cancellations in the nation on Monday. More than 200 Southwest flights at Love Field are already canceled for today. Other airlines didn't have as many weather-related problems. Captain Casey Murray, president of Southwest's pilots' union, blames the airline's scheduling problems on I-T from the 1990s.
