A San Antonio officer is recovering from injuries he suffered in a traffic accident while responding to another crash. Police say the collision happened before 6 p.m. Tuesday on Babcock Road and Northwest Loop 410. A driver heading south on Babcock went through the green light because he didn't see the officer's flashing lights or hear the siren. The officer was hospitalized with back pain, and the driver had minor injuries from his airbag. Police say the driver isn't expected to face charges.
