The arrival of the cold front may affect VIA Metropolitan Transit service this week. VIA is keeping an eye on the forecast, which calls for freezing cold from Thursday through Christmas Day, but no precipitation. A news release says there are no service changes yet for bus, VIA Link, and VIA Trans services. Any detours or schedule changes in response to severe winter weather conditions will be announced online at VIA's web site.
