The Texas Rangers are signing starting pitcher Andrew Heaney to a two-year deal, sources tell ESPN. Heaney's deal is valued at $25 million but can increase to $37 million with incentives. There is an opt-out clause after the first year of the deal. He will join newly signed Jacob deGrom and returning starters Jon Gray, Jake Odorizzi and Martin Perez in the Rangers' rotation. In other team news, the Rangers were rewarded the number-4 pick in the 2023 MLB Draft.
