A San Antonio state senator is one of six Texas lawmakers who have obtained information about the Uvalde investigation through nondisclosure agreements. Senator Roland Gutierrez and the others signed agreements with the Department of Public Safety to keep the records secret. The agreements are part of the state secrecy that's surrounded the probe of the school shooting that killed 21 people six months ago. The two representatives and four senators say the information will help them draft better bills for the 2023 legislative session.
