The City of Uvalde, Texas is filing a lawsuit against its own District Attorney over access to information regarding the Robb Elementary School shooting. The lawsuit accuses D-A Christina Mitchell of blocking "the city's ability to obtain critical information" about the response by law enforcement to the shooting on May 24th. According to the lawsuit, Mitchell has significantly restricted an independent investigation into the shooting by not making evidence available. Mitchell has claimed that releasing the requested information could potentially traumatize the victims' families.
