Survivors of the deadly mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas have filed a 27-billion dollar class-action lawsuit against a number of law enforcement agencies. The suit filed Tuesday in Federal court in Austin names the city, the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District, the district's police department, the Uvalde Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety and members and former members of those agencies. Plaintiffs include parents, along with teachers and school staffers who were at the school on May 24th when a teenager with an assault-style rifle killed 19 children and two teachers.
