The defending champion Houston Astros have agreed to a three-year deal with first baseman Jose Abreu. The 35-year-old Abreu won the American League M-V-P in 2020 and is a three-time All Star. He hit 15 home runs and drove in 75 RBIs for the Chicago White Sox this past season. The deal is reportedly in the $60 million range. This is the second signing for the Astros after inking reliever Rafael Montero to a three-year deal two weeks ago.
