Officials are identifying a man who was shot to death in the parking lot of a Walgreens on the West Side early Sunday morning. The Bexar County Medical Examiner says 30-year-old Ricardo Ortega died at the scene. The shooting happened just after midnight on West Commerce Street near South General McMullen. The victim was sitting in his car waiting for a relative who had stepped inside to use the ATM. A black vehicle with two people in it pulled up, and one of the two reportedly shot Ortega in the abdomen.
