The Ford Holiday River Parade returns to the San Antonio River Walk this week for its 41st year. The annual parade takes place on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The one-hour parade starts at 6 p.m. and will feature 28 illuminated floats on a four-mile route. The floating parade takes place under more than 100-thousand lights along the River Walk. The grand marshal of this year's river parade will be a familiar face: the Grinch.
