The San Antonio City Council plans to appoint a temporary replacement for censured Councilman Clayton Perry. Council members passed a vote of "no-confidence" in Perry on Monday as a result of his recent reported involvement in a hit-and-run accident. Perry is charged with failure to stop and give information. City Attorney Andy Segovia says the temporary appointee would serve the rest of Perry's term, which ends next June, or until Perry decides to return from his sabbatical.
