The Cowboys are looking to beef up their run defense. Dallas acquired defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins from the Raiders for a 2023 sixth-round draft pick. The Cowboys also acquired a 2024 seventh-rounder from Las Vegas in the deal. Hankins had spent the past five seasons with the Raiders, but recorded just 10 tackles through five games this season. The 30-year-old was drafted by the New York Giants in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Dallas' rush defense currently ranks 20th in the NFL.
