The Houston Astros are a win away from their second-straight World Series appearance. The Astros held the New York Yankees to three hits during a 5-0 victory in Game Three of the American League Championship Series at Yankee Stadium. Chas McCormick got the scoring started with a two-run home run in the top of the second, and the Astros tacked on three more runs in the sixth. Cristian Javier tossed five-and-a-third scoreless inning for the win, while Gerrit Cole was charged with the loss after surrendering three earned runs and two unearned runs in five innings. Houston now leads the best-of-seven series three-games-to-none. Game Four is Sunday. The Astros are trying to get into the Fall Classic for the fourth time in six years.
