The Astros are kicking off their quest for another World Series title this afternoon. Houston hosts the Mariners in the American League Division series opener. The Astros earned a first-round bye after finishing with the best record in the AL at 106-and-56. The club sends right-hander Justin Verlander to the mound for Game One. Opposite him is fellow righty Logan Gilbert for Seattle. The Mariners swept the Blue Jays to advance.
