A former Texas D-P-S trooper the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District hired has been terminated. Uvalde C-I-S-D announced that Crimson Elizondo is no longer an officer with the district police department. Elizondo is one of several troopers under investigation for their response to the Robb Elementary School shooting in May, and she was reportedly heard on body camera footage stating that she would not have been outside if her child was in the building. Uvalde parents and families of the victims protested outside of district headquarters yesterday in response to Elizondo's hiring.
