The Astros took a no-hitter into the ninth inning during a 10-0 win over the Phillies in Houston. Justin Verlander struck out ten over five scoreless innings to earn his 18th win in his final tune-up start before the postseason. Jeremy Pena, Kyle Tucker, and Martin Maldonado all went deep in the victory. Houston has won three of four to improve to 105-and-56. Ranger Suarez was charged with his seventh loss after surrendering six runs in three innings. The loss snaps Philadelphia's three-game winning streak. The Phils will settle for the third NL Wild Card after San Diego won on Tuesday.
