Teams from the San Antonio Zoo are helping with recovery efforts from Hurricane Ian. The zoo crews will travel to Mobile, Alabama, to help with zoological rescue and recovery efforts. They plan to help the region's zoos, aquariums and other facilities that treat non-domestic animals. The San Antonio Zoo first sent recovery teams to Houston and Texas Zoo in Victoria following Hurricane Harvey.
