Dak Prescott Could Play Next Week Against Rams

Dak Prescott might not be playing this weekend, despite a report during Monday Night Football. The Cowboys quarterback said Tuesday that he "probably" won't be playing against the Commanders on Sunday. Prescott added that he's looking at next week's game against the Rams as a more realistic goal. Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy said the QB still has some swelling in his right hand after having stitches removed from his thumb. Prescott was injured in the Cowboys' Week One loss to the Buccaneers.
