A federal judge in Texas ruled on Monday that the Second amendment allows people indicted for felonies to buy guns. U.S. District Judge David Counts based his decision on a U.S. Supreme Court ruling in June that struck down New York State's restrictive concealed-carry law. The high court ruled that courts should only uphold gun restrictions that traditionally exist in U.S. history. Counts, a Trump appointee, says he found no history of limiting access to guns for people charged with felonies but not convicted of them.
