The Astros are hoping to get their ace back in the rotation. Houston manager Dusty Baker said Wednesday that right-hander Justin Verlander is tentatively scheduled to pitch against the A's tomorrow night. The 39-year-old was placed on the 15-day injured list with some right calf discomfort. Baker added that the decision wasn't final yet. Verlander leads MLB with a 1.84 ERA and also owns a 16-and-3 record through 24 starts.
