The Dallas Cowboys aren't putting Dak Prescott on the injured reserve, so the injured quarterback may be back in the game sooner than expected. Prescott broke his thumb during Sunday night's loss to Tampa Bay. Early estimates said he may be out six to eight-weeks as a result. Putting Prescott on the I-R would automatically put him on the bench for at least four-weeks. Team owner Jerry Jones said on Tuesday morning they'd prefer Prescott to be able to return "within the next four games."
