Alex Bregman smashed a grand slam as the Astros beat the Angels 12-4 in Houston. Bregman cleared the bases in the third inning with his 21st home run of the season. Trey Mancini, Kyle Tucker, Yordan Alvarez and Mauricio Dubon also went deep in the victory. Luis Garcia collected his 12th win after allowing three runs over five frames. Houston improved to 90-and-50. Tucker Davison suffered the loss after giving up four runs over two innings of work. Shohei Ohtani launched his 34th long ball of the season for Los Angeles, which fell to 61-and-79.
