Vice President Harris Discusses Faith In Texas Speech

Vice President Harris addressed the National Baptist Convention in Houston today. Harris discussed her faith and upbringing along with what the Biden Administration is doing to reduce healthcare costs, but also talked about American ideals that she says now hang in the balance. She specifically mentioned voting rights and abortion laws that followed the ruling that struck down Roe v. Wade. The Vice President also touted the administration's diverse judicial nominations, including new Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. Harris will continue her trip to Houston tomorrow with a tour of the Johnson Space Center.
