The city's Noise Ordinance Task Force is studying a report delivered to them on Tuesday by a hired consultant. The committee is working to come up with recommendations for the San Antonio City Council about mitigating amplified sound from businesses that are near residents. The 18-page report included recommendations for a multi-year permit, a sound impact plan request, regulation of decibel levels, and hours of operation. The task force didn't vote on the report, and it may be months away from a city council vote.
