The Cowboys are adding some much-needed depth to their offensive line. Dallas announced that it signed offensive tackle Jason Peters to the practice squad. The Cowboys released defensive end Mika Tafua in a corresponding move. Peters helps fortify the offensive line after the Cowboys lost left tackle Tyron Smith to a torn hamstring in the preseason. Peters started 15 games at left tackle for the Bears last season after spending 11 years with the Eagles. Dallas opens the season on Sunday night as it hosts the Buccaneers in Arlington.
