The Texans are turning their attention to their regular season opener. Houston kicks off the 2022 season against the Colts on September 11th at home. The Texans closed the preseason 3-and-oh after beating the 49ers last week. Houston waived kicker Matt Ammendola over the weekend after a short stint with the team. Ammendola filled in for injured kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn, who is expected to be healthy for Week One.
