Texans Shutout 49ers In Preseason Finale

The Texans wrapped up the preseason with a shutout victory. Houston blanked the 49ers 17-0 at NRG Stadium. Davis Mills threw for 58 yards, one touchdown and an interception in the win. Rookie Dameon Pierce rushed for 37 yards and a score for the Texans, who completed the preseason a perfect 3-and-oh. Brock Purdy and Nate Sudfeld each threw a pick for San Francisco, which finished the preseason 2-and-1. Trey Lance completed 7-of-11 passes for 49 yards. The Niners visit the Bears in Week One of the regular season, while the Texans host the Colts.
