The Rangers scored seven runs in the second inning as they crushed the Rockies 16-4 in Denver. Charlie Culberson and Nathaniel Lowe homered for Texas. Martin Perez pitched six scoreless innings for the Rangers, who are 57-and-67. Wynton Bernard, Ryan McMahon, and Brendan Rodgers drove in runs for the Rockies. Jose Urena allowed nine runs over an inning and a third to take the loss for Colorado. The Rockies are 54-and-71.
